Park Presidio Counseling Center is happy to announce a Chi Gung and meditation class for people looking for skills to help manage anxiety and excessive stress.
Through the gentle circular motions of simple chi gung systems you will learn how to easily relax your muscles and nerves to create a more comfortable experience of being in your body. Basic meditation will also be taught to help quiet your mind and let go of mental chatter that can exacerbate anxiety and diminish peace of mind and pleasure in life.
Anxiety and chronic stress have a strong physiological component. By going to the heart of the habits in your nervous system, you can ease much of the problem at its source.
